The　Ten　commandments
『犬の十戒』


１．My life is likely to last ten to fifteen years.
おいらの人生10〜15年
Any separation from you will painful for me.
離れているのはつらいのよ
Remember that before you buy me.
おいらを飼う前にそれは覚えておいてね


２．Give me time to understand what you want of me.
あんたのお望みどおりになるまで　時間がかかるわよ


３．Place your trust in me - it's crucial to my well-being.
あんたが信じてくれると　おいら幸せ


４．Don't be angry at me for long and don't lock me up as punishment.
あんまり長い間怒らないでね、んでもって罰とかいって閉じ込めないで
You have your work, your entertainment and your friends.
あんたには仕事も遊びもあるし、友達もいるじゃん
I have only you.
おいらにはあんただけぇ


５．Talk to me sometimes.
ときどき喋りかけてね
Even if I don't understand your words,
I understand your voice when it's speaking to me.
あんたの言葉はわかんないけどさ、
おいらにしゃべってくれる声はわかるの


６．Be aware that however you treat me, I 'll never forget it.
あんたがおいらをどんなに扱おうと、おいらは全部忘れない･･･ヒッヒッヒッヒ


７．Remember before you hit me
that I have teeth that could easliy crush the bones of your hands
おいらにはあんたの手の骨を簡単に噛み砕ける牙があることを　
おいらをたたくときには覚えとけよ
but that I choose not to bite you.
おいらはあんたの手を噛まないって決めてるけどね


８．Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate or lasy,
おいらが言う事をきかないとかすねてるとか、だらけてるとか言って叱る前に
ask yourself if someting might be bothering me.
おいらがブルーになってる原因を考えてね
Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, or I've been out in the sun too long
or my heart is getting old and weak.
きっとゴハンが合ってなかったり、外に長いこと居過ぎたり、
年をとったり弱ってたりするせいなんだよ


９．Take care of me when I get old; you, too, will grow old.
おいらが年をとってもおいらの世話をしてね、
あんたが年をとってもね


１０．Go with me on difficult journeys.
つらいときは二人一緒に
Never say, "I can't bear to watch it." or "Let it happen in my absensce."
「見てられない」とか「私がいないときに」とか　絶対言わないで
Everything  is easier for me if you are there.
あんたがいてくれれば、おいらはすべてが楽になる
Remember,  I LOVE YOU.
忘れないで、あんたが大好き
